Sea Center Texas

Sea Center is a 22,000 square foot hatchery for
raising red drum. It also includes a touch tank for
kids and aquariums that mimic the different eco-
systems in this area. The star of the show is
Gordon a 250 pound grouper that lives in a
50,000 gallon aquarium. Come by and say hi to
Gordon.

The Center for The Arts & Sciences
Come check out The Center for a live
show at the theater or stop by the natural
science museum and see the life-sized
dinosaur replica and the largest shell
collection in the south. Also contains an
art gallery showcasing local artists and see
the stars in the planetaruim.

Beaches
Surfside Beach
Surfside beach with its 21 miles of shoreline is a perfect place to
walk, fish, swim, or just watch the ships go by. There are deep
sea charters available or stop by the jetty park and cast your line
of the mile long jetties. There is also a bait shop located there, a
playground, and places to hang out in the shade and grill.
